CREATIVE MOVEMENT THERAPY
Introductory Training program in Delhi
Facilitator: Tripura Kashyap
Dance therapy involves the use of natural body movements to attain therapeutic goals. Dance therapists encourage participants to evolve a personal movement language to achieve holistic growth and healthier functioning. This therapy helps to increase the emotional-physical unity in individuals affecting positive changes in feelings, cognition, behaviour and physical functioning. Participants also gain a better understanding of their movement potential, conflicts and needs.
Taking part in individual, group, and partnership activities, participants enhance their range of motion, creativity, problem solving skills and team building capacities. While befriending their bodies through movement and interacting with others, participants learn to reinforce social skills more effectively.
This participatory program consists of three broad segments. Theory includes historical evolution, techniques, principles and objectives of dance therapy. The practical segment consists of body awareness practices, warm ups, relaxation routines, creative movement activities and games in combination with techniques from Indian and Western dance theatre. The third segment consists of evaluation and assessment in which participants learn to analyze movement patterns and behaviour.
After reviewing the introductory workshop, participants will be further guided through the theory and practice of dance therapy. Therapeutic elements from Indian dance forms, kinds of groups encountered, philosophy/methods of pioneer dance therapists, body/self image, providing variety of movement experiences in sessions, and assessing group movement behaviour will be discussed. Case studies will also be examined to reinforce the idea of therapeutic dance. Alongside learning fresh movement games and activities, participants will develop facilitation skills to conduct movement activities.
In clusters, they will be given assignments to create their own movement activities under concepts like strength building, physical contact, or setting personal boundaries etc.

The program is open to special educators, school teachers, dancers, actors, visual artists, team leaders, social workers and therapists working with NGO’s and other heterogeneous groups. The workshop will help participants use movement in sessions with children or adults they work with.

Nice to know about your goodself from the internet.
I have over 27 years experience in the corporate world and have done research in the subject of leadership for the past about 12 years. Presently I am associated with reputed premium brand builder of Mumbai and Thane developing IT Parks, highrise towers of international standards including 111 floors Tallest Tower at Lower Parel and huge residential townships. I have plans of writing entitled WHO IS LEADER-an exciting creative concept of leadership applied to modern management needs. Would like to hold a free leadership seminar at your end for your members, colleagues, associates, students, etc, on any Sunday. Wish to hold leadership seminars from your esteemed institution/organisation, if possible. Eagerly looking forward to seeing you soon and your favourable response. Revert back for an inspiring article entitled YOUTH LEADERSHIP CRISES. What is dis-easing the minds of our youth who are growing up from the nascent to the adolescent to the matured adult age, in the modernized, competitive hi-tech world.
I am sure you certainly wish that people should enjoy good health by naturally boosting immunity, staying vigorously fit, adding a healthy glow to your skin and living youthfully as you advance in life, in today’s competitive world demanding a lot more than what you get. You need good health to prove your mettle in the society and family, which is always expecting more and more from you than you can give. We are living in a Chakravyu of death which killed Ranjan Das, CEO of SAP – Pollution from factories and lakhs of vehicles, viruses from stinking garbage, overflowing gutters and millions of people spitting all around and toxins (silent killers) in the air, food, water, etc., are making everyone’s life miserable in the cities, especially during old age with medical challenges/emergencies. Mass media is pumping desires and dreams in the minds of the common people which the common man cannot achieve. The rich elite are going money-crazy and super-luxury-maniacs. A US MLM company has patented a process of extracting Transfer Factors (also found in mother’s milk), from the first milk of cow, mixed in premium fruit juices, mushroom, vegetable extracts, which facilitate healthy living. One can make a fortune as there are crores of people having diabetes, heart / kidney / liver problems, cancer, etc, etc. It is now undisputedly true that more and more people in the cities are dying of heart attacks, diabetes, cancers, paralysis and other medical problems. Increasing number of children are born with birth defects including autism, etc.
It has been found that chemotherapy reduces the bio-immunity and hence transfer factors are needed during chemotherapy and after chemotherapy to boost immunity naturally.
Enrol for free seminar on Sunday at 3.00 p.m. at Chakala, Andheri East, Mumbai call Mr.Elly Lobo on cell 09819866577, to know the cause of diseases, heart problems, cancer, etc. or speak to Mr. S. Rodrigues on Cell 982030 5145.
